LINDAMOOD-BELL TO HOST 16TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL LITERACY CONFERENCE
San Luis Obispo, Calif., February 27, 2008 – Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, an internationally recognized leader in literacy research, remediation, and professional development, will host their 16th Annual International Conference at Disney's Grand Californian® Hotel and Resort in Anahiem, CA from March 13th through March 15th. Lindamood-Bell hosts this annual conference to offer the latest information in brain research, cognition, language comprehension, vocabulary, dyslexia, and autism—as well as information on leadership and federal/state policy to increase student achievement.
This event is one of the few educational conferences that combine research presentations with professional development workshops. Keynote speakers this year include: Dr. Alan Paivio, Professor Emeritus, University of Western Ontario; Dr. Nancy J. Minshew, Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology, University of Pittsburgh Center for Autism Research; and Nanci Bell, Author and Co-Founder of Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes.
